Walk into any furniture store with a $4,000 to $5,000 budget, and you’ll find plenty of dining table options. But our client want more than just a standard table. He wanted a dining table designed to stand out.
We took our cue from Lam Jun Yuan of interior design consultancy 19 Eighty Three. Jun Yuan was perfect for his client’s vision of a one-of-a-kind dining table because of his attention to detail.
A Table with Character
The boat shaped table measures 220 cm in length and 100 cm in width, making it a striking centrepiece. The top features a polished porcelain slab that mimics green marble with white spidery veins. It looks so realistic that you might mistake it for the real thing.
The base adds another layer of uniqueness. It includes two distinct leg designs: one inspired by our in-house collection and the other featuring custom notch detailing which mirrors the table’s connecting panel.
Practical Elegance
The porcelain top from K Stone is scratch-resistant, easy to clean, and durable enough for everyday use. This makes it ideal for homeowners who value both style and practicality. Unlike real marble, it doesn’t demand constant vigilance against stains or scratches.
A Statement Piece
Once installed, the table became the focal point of the dining area. Paired with muted bronze velvet chairs, it exudes understated luxury. for our client, this table isn't just functional, it’s a personal statement and a lasting investment.
